PAC No Tolerance Policy

Updated Friday March 15, 2019 by PAC.

In an effort to have a 100% POSITIVE season for our children and their families, the Panthers Athletic Club will implement a “No Tolerance Policy” for all coaches, parents’ athletes and spectators.

**ANY UNSPORTSMANLIKE CONDUCT/FAILURE TO FOLLOW ALL ORGANIZATION RULES MAY RESULT IN

IMMEDIATE DISMISSAL FROM ALL FUTURE PANTHER ACTIVITIES.**

OUR NO TOLERANCE POLICY IS AS FOLLOWS:

  1. A member of our coaching staff and/or Board Member must notify Director or President as soon as possible after an unsportsmanlike occurrence takes place.

  2. An Incident Report must be submitted within 24 hours of the occurrence.

  3. The Board will immediately review the report and a hearing will be scheduled.

  4. The person reported will be contacted to be informed of the hearing date and time.  The person will not be permitted at the field or any Panther activity until the hearing is held and a decision has been made by the Board.  If they do not attend the hearing, they will no longer be a member of Panthers.

  5. At the hearing the person will have ten (10) minutes to explain his/her situation and may bring one (1) witness who will have five (5) minutes to speak in their behalf.  Any Board member is able to ask whatever questions they deem necessary in helping them reach a decision.

  6. The Board will deliberate and a decision on whether or not a disciplinary action is necessary will be reached by majority vote.

  7. The President will notify the person reported within 24 hours of the hearing.

There is no appeal process, the Board’s decision is FINAL.

  1. If you are suspended from attending practices/games and do not honor the Board's decision, your child will no longer be permitted to participate with the Panther's organization.  Anyone having more than one incident within the season will be automatically removed from the organization for the remainder of the season. No exceptions.

  2. NOTE – THERE ARE NO ALCOHOL OR TOBACCO PRODUCTS PERMITTED AT THE FIELD AT ANYTIME.  SMOKERS MUST BE IN THE PARKING LOT AWAY FROM THE SNACK SHACK AND ANY OF OUR ATHLETES.

CHAIN OF COMMAND

  • All problems/concerns with the team should be handled by the HEAD COACH.

  • Parent still unhappy – then they speak with the DIRECTOR of that sport.

  • Still unsatisfied – then they speak with the PRESIDENT.

  • Still no resolution – they call the COUNTY.

We ask that you realize that all Coaches and Board Members are VOLUNTEERS who donate their time and efforts for YOUR CHILDREN!!  We are not asking you to always agree with decisions made, but we are asking that you are respectful in your approach to getting your issue resolved.

Thanks for being a part of our PANTHER FAMILY!!
